We spent a weekend self drive break at the hotel. The room was small but clean and tidy. However the decoration was poor with peeling paint on the window sills and surrounds. Stayed at this bhotel with Shearings.. Lovely Hotel in a good position and within easy walking distance to all the attractions.. Room was lovely and spacious.. Staff extremely helpful and food good .. can highly reccomend it

Stayed on a 4 night holiday with Shearings reception staff excellent food,,restaurant staff and bar staff could not have been better. Food excellent with a good choice. Intial room very tired but we given another room which great. Sona the waitress looked after us and could not do enough. We would definitely stay here again

A lovely hotel refurbished for the olympics, but very cold in the lounges and dining room especially if you were sat near the windows, bedrooms were spacious and clean, but the gale and rain blowing through the windows was terrible.
