the staff were very friendly and helpful, we stayed for four nights bed breakfast and evening meal, the meals were all waitress service with full English breakfast and evening meal was five courses plus tea or coffee. it was up to a five star hotel. could not rate it highly enough. will go back. more

Have just returned from The Queens after a 5 days break as part of a 20 strong coach party. the only thing i do find is that the serving of meals is to slow ,not enough waiters but for the food , i cannot fault it , when it comes. it is a friendly ,cosy and a lovely welcome when you arrive and all the staff are so friendly ,got to no them all now. more

An extremely well run hotel close to the front and shops, and very good value for money. The rooms were clean and well decorated, as was the restaurant where the food was generous and nicely presented. The staff were friendly and very hard working. Just returned from a weeks half board at The Queens Hotel, I had previously stayed there with my parents four years ago, and I must admit the hotel is better now, although it was very good before, thats why we chose to stay again. stayed for 1 week with my wife and 13year old son and really enjoyed it,the room on the 2nd floor had plenty of hanging space and drawers.nice size bathroom.tea making,flat screne tv.Good choice for breakfast and evening meals were fab.the deserts were great. I have been to the Queens Hotel 5 times with my 2 teenage daughters, the last time being April this year and will hopefully be returning very soon.
