Stayed here for 2 nights and had the keats bedroom. Simple features like small tv and tea/coffee sachets but bed was comfy. Might need to consider a new mattress for next year as springs just starting to show though. Glenn and jill were the best of hosts and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast was just perfection from fresh fruit salad...

We are an historic building (some parts date back 400 years or more) located at the top of Shanklin Old Village. We offer friendly relaxed and homely bed and breakfast. We will also offer a supper menu from 15th March 2013. All rooms are en-suite and have freeview TV and welcome trays. We welcome well behaved dogs (£2.50 per dog per night) and can accommodate children of 12 years and over. We are perfectly located on the High street for bus and train links. We are within easy reach of the theatre, restaurants, bars, night life, beach, coastal path and downland walks. We welcome cyclists, walkers and festival goers as well as workmen and contractors. Early cooked breakfasts are available and we can cater to most dietary requirements if notice is given. The Keats Room, where the famous poet stayed and wrote (Lamia, Otho the Great and many of his odes) is available as one of our letting rooms. So come and stay in a real piece of history. We will make you most welcome. We are open year round including Christmas and New Year.
