Have just returned from a very enjoyable 4-day break at Foxhills of Shanklin. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was delicious and our hosts could not have been more helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was also conveniently located for a wide range of restaurants in Shanklin, which would suit all tastes, and is an ideal base... More

My partner and I wanted a weekend break from it all, and our stay at Foxhills did not disappoint. We were greeted with an extremely warm welcome, and made to feel extremely comfortable by the Hotels owner James. Situated close to the town we were able to explore Shanklin without too much of a trek, and had a very nice... More

We had a very pleasant stay at Foxhills. The breakfasts were delicious. especially the choice of fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries to name a few) and James was so obliging, particularly in helping us to start the car! We will go back to the hotel as soon as we can.

We travelled as a couple and booked Foxhills last minute on laterooms.com. We stayed in the Osborne suite which was lovely and really spacious. The b&b is located very close to the local town, we went for dinner at a little Italian called Mamma Mia's where the food was gorgeous with huge portions. Although we only stayed one night we... We returned last week from a great stay at Foxhills. Everything was wonderful. James was a great host and made us feel really welcome. Our room was lovely, plenty of room, spotlessly clean, and with a comfortable bed. You will never go hungry after one of the breakfasts. My husband can recommend the full English or black pudding stack! I... More

Our Easter break was perfect thanks to James and Paula who really made us feel like home. The place is cosy, close to centre and rooms are very comfy. The breakfast is amazing with fresh products and large choice. We will definitely come back!

I booked our stay at short notice and in my haste, selected the 22nd March instead of the 15th in error (although fortunately, my stupidy did not extend to booking the ferry crossing on the wrong date!) We therefore arrived one week early!! Despite this, we were welcomed with open arms by James and Paula who really are the perfect... More

A delightful place to stay; organised ferry journey, warm welcoming host, comfortable, well decorated 'quiet' guest lounge, clean, well appointed bed room and superb breakfast. A few minutes walk from High Street. House quiet although close to road. We'd like to return in warmer weather.

Stayed at Foxhills with a friend, exploring the Isle. It was a great location from which we could explore all around an everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and kept to a high standard - the toiletries we had there were absolutely top notch! Please bear in mind that this is an old house - lots of beautiful period... When we rang to inquire about rooms, James was very nice on the phone and even offered to book the ferry for us! This saved us a bit of hassle as he took care of everything. The actual BnB is really well presented and made us feel as if we were really at home. There was a personal touch to... More
