I was racking my brain to see if I could think of any negatives - and I can't. The location is brilliant, the breakfast fab (very fab!)and I had two of the best nights' sleeps I have enjoyed for a very long time. Add to this a lovely lounge and conservatory where one can peruse possibilities for the night's dinner... More

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Westbury Lodge for a long weekend. The owners Kath and Dave were very good hosts and very attentive on arrival, Kath made us feel at home straight away and offered us drinks, teas and coffees. Our rooms were very good, spotless and cosy and I slept soundly on my 3 nights... More

What can I add to so many great reviews? You certainly put your hearts into this B&B and it shows. You have both turned this charming old English home into a warm and welcoming, comfortable and cozy B&B. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and we were bowled over by your flaky light French croissants at breakfast; they are... More

My husband and myself have had a number of short breaks instead of an annual holiday in recent years and by carefully researching on trip advisor we have always picked good places to stay - Westbury Lodge is no exception. Spotlessly clean, lovely bright and airy room, spacious public rooms, superb breakfast choice (hot options were well cooked and presented)... More

We have stayed at numerous b&b's over the years but this was by far the best. Kath & Dave are extremely friendly & nothing is too much trouble. You feel like one of the family when you leave. The breakfast is very good with good quality food & if you fancy something different to the full english (like we did... More

Received very warm welcome from Kath upon arrival. Room was light and airy being a good size with a big bed and coffee/tea making facilities. Our stay there (1 night) was quiet and peaceful. Cooked breakfast in the morning was superb! Only small negatives were 1. the size of the shower cubicle in the room which was a bit on... More

We are sorry you were disappoited that we had "No bar licence and so no facility to serve alcohol to guests" but our web site home page clearly states "Although not licensed to serve alcohol we are more than happy to provide corkscrews, glasses and ice if guests wish to purchase from outside of the hotel". Regarding the shower cubicle,... More
