“Roughing it.”

It's cheap. It's tacky, it's run down,it smells musty,everything is ancient and a lot of it is broken. I could forgive that for the price but there is no excuse for bad customer service whatever you charge. Hard to find the staff and if you do manage to coax one out of the back,dont expect your needs to be met.

“Superb place to stay”

We stayed in the Trevelyan and it was faultless. Very clean, lovely staff and a fantastic breakfast. We would be happy to stay here every time we visit Isle of Man.

My stay was during the TT races, I'd read all the reveiws and travelled with an open mind. On my arrival to the hotel I was pleasantly surprised. I always read reviews with a pinch of salt. Sadly nowadays people want 5 star accommodation with a cheap price tag.
