the hotel is really in need of a makover, it is so old fashioned with ornaments and pictures everywhere mis match of old cheap furniture. The food is plentiful but not of a good quality but served hot and by plesant staff. The bar prices are very cheap for a hotel (bottle of Bud £1.50 gin & tonic £2). We... More

Anyone reading the previous review would rightly feel uncertain about this hotel---IGNORE IT--this is a lovely hotel--old fashioned-yes but it feels nice and homely---the food is exceptional both in quality, quantity and choice. The Mrs's Patels are very welcoming and we found no problems whatsoever---My biggest compliment would be that they have a hotel that is as the title suggests--a little... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Malvern. Really old fashioned mainly catering for the senior citizens. Can't complain, we knew what we were getting when we booked by reading trip advisor. Overall pleasantly surprised. The room was good value. Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly. Most of all the other guests were very good company.

Just spent 4 nights at the Malvern. I can only comment on our room. Where do I start? Room 21 was on the top floor, I felt as if I had walked back into the 1940/1950's. The decor was atrocious, every piece of furniture in the room was different, nothing matched & it looked like it had all come from... More

We stayed in room 7. Certainly not lucky 7. Toilet with falling apart plastic folding door.Tiny shower cubical opened straight into main room-absolutely no privacy. Bed &furniture appeared to be from a child's bedroom.Food reasonably good but just one knife &fork for starter &main meal .Certainly not reccomended and we most certainly would not return.

I have just returned home from five days here. Three friends and myself travelled with Travelstyle and we were transfered to the Melvern from another hotel which had closed down. (Seagrove) It was the best thing that could have happened. The staff were all very friendly. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our rooms, for which we had one each would have... More
