Lovely old fashioned hotel close to town centre. Decor a little bit dated but I quite liked that and gave it an old world charm - and it was very clean. Room was smallish but perfectly comfortable. Very friendly staff and very well run hotel. I think it is incredibly good value for money. Would definitely recommend it.

Staff are very friendly, helped with luggage. The room itself is big, spacious, has tea/coffee making facilities, power shower, tv/dvd player with freeview, lots of light in the room! Bed itself very cosy, lots of pillows, luxurious duvet. Fresh towels provided and daily cleaning service! Definitely one of the best hotels in Ilfracombe.

Stayed at this hotel with a coach party. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The bedroom and bathroom was very clean. Also they have some rooms with walk in showers. The menu had a good choice of food.

Took short break in Ilfracombe recently and stayed here. Good clean hotel if a little dated. Good breakfast but unfortunately they were not cooking in the evening, but they sent us to a lovely pub where they served some good food.

On entering, the lobby looks a bit 'chintzy', however the rooms are neutrally decorated, clean, fresh and in great condition. Stayed in the superior double and the room was huge, the bed comfy and it had a huge TV!
