we went to this hotel on a National holiday 5 day break, the hotel has no lift, so when an elderly person stays there the effort of having to climb the stairs after being out to the beach or anything you wish to do is horrendous, then there is the food,!! the breakfast is not so bad, mainly due to... Hi, Thank you for taking the time in leaving this review following your recent stay and it is unfortunate that you could not take the time to discuss these issues with me during your stay when I might have been in a position to rectify these 'issues' for you. Firstly we do not advertise with |National that we have a... More

The hotel owners are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is great value and the location couldn't be nearer the North beach. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable if not a little quirky. It's not the Ritz but the price reflects this. We had no complaints and would vist this hotel again for a weekend break without any hesitation.... More

This was a one night stay in late May. Hotel is 3 minutes from the coast. I found a friendly, helpful reception; a clean quiet room with sound facilities; an excellent breakfast.Overall it was excellent value for money.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a three night break at the Albany. We first stayed there in March, and liked it so much we returned. The staff are all so friendly, you really cannot fault them, especially Richard, the owner, who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The room we stayed in was... More

Another great break with National Holidays. Hotel is old but can't fault anything. Staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Short walk into the town and the sea views were beautiful. Will not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will go back in future.

Had a pleasant stay at the Albany. It is a very reasonably priced hotel with character situated only a short walk from the town centre. The rooms were of ample size, warm and clean. The bar was large and welcoming. Although we didn’t stay for breakfast this was optional and was reflected in the price. I would like to thank... More
