After a very long flight, Jim welcomed us early to his lovely home. We rested for a bit and then took on Stirling Castle! Jim cautioned driving in Stirling and urged us to "get out and walk off the jet-lag!" The weather was unseasonably cold with wind gusts up to 50 mph....the castle is situated on top of a mountain....COLD!!!... More

Jim Louden runs an amazing B&B! Immaculate, clean, great breakfasts, close to town and main transport links! What more could you want! Every time I have visited it has been the same consistently high standard. Just don't book room # 6 . . . . that's MINE!

Excellent B&B. Host Jim was welcoming and helpful. Location is great with the centre of Stirling just a short walk away. Parking is adjacent. Great rooms and facilities. Homely feel with great personality. Good breakfast. Bit tricky to locate so talk to Jim to get final directions. Don’t rely on a GPS – have a map and talk to Jim.... More

This was the perfect spot from which to base our stay in Scotland. It was an easy walk from the train station and a very manageable walk to Stirling Castle. The family room that we had was crowded but quite adequate. The morning breakfast room was elegant and the breakfast basic but very good. We enjoyed our chats with Jim... More

Forth Guest house is a nice guest house 5 minutes walking from the centre of Stirling. The owner, Jim, is a real gentleman, nice, polite and helpful. The breakfast room is cozy and elegant. The rooms aren't very large and the bathrooms are pretty small, but everything is clean and elegant.

We occupied four rooms in the house, all well furnished, comfortable, perfectly clean. The guest house is close to the city centre and the railway station. Parking a little tight but sufficient. Breakfast very good (fresh fruit salad too). Very friendly and helpful staff.

The b&b is close to the train and bus station, and is very easy to reach if you have no car. Jim, the owner, is incredibly kind and nice and gave us advice on where to eat in the evening or how to reach the main attraction of Stirling. The room is small but very cute and the bathroom has... More

I have traveled the world and this is one of the best B&B'S. A wonderful host, excellent food, a great bed and beautiful design in this 1820 Georgian building. The owner has done a fantastic job of designing guest rooms. It is close to the train station and all the Stirling attractions. We arrived after a long overseas flight. What... More

We would recommend this B&B to our friends. The owners were so friendly and couldn't help more, they really wanted to make our stay the best it could be. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfasts are great (full Scotish Breakfast) and the service at breakfast is exellent. The beds are comfortable and we had a good... More
