Again we spent a fantastic week at Cropton, never a disappointment. We were lucky with the weather dry, bright although very cold. A lovely place to relax and unwind. Ben and Sue as ever fantastic hosts, discrete but on hand. If you are thinking about staying here try it you won't be disapointed.

Just an addendum to my previous review... At the moment (23:22hrs on 20/3/13) I'm lying on a couch in in Willows End, the log fire is blazing, there is snow falling outside and everything is right with the world. We were in need of a break and the reviews sounded good. We were not disappointed and cannot praise everything highly enough. The log burner blazed as it snowed and the views were amazing. This is a very special place and we are looking forward to a return trip

We found these cottages after reviewing several offerings in this area. We were not disappointed, and the place is fantastic, off the beaten track, but ideally placed for walking, and visiting local places in the car. Yet another lovely few days away in the wonderful cottages, its been two years since we last visited and they didn't disappoint.Would highly recommend to any one.Made the most of the log fire as the snow fell!!! Stayed in Middlehead as we took the dog. Thanks Ben Sue and Finnley, see you soon.
