The food was way, way too expensive for what it was, the clientel in the bar were totally ignorant, and the charmless manager actually asked us to vacate our table before we were finished our meal. Avoid like the plague.

Why stay in Hartlepool when The Ship is only 6 miles out. The rooms are separate to the main building very nice and spotlessly clean. The restaurant food was excellent with fabulous service. They made me feel very welcome. I will definitely go back when I am in the area.
