This is nowhere near as bad as what people say. For one night it was £25, the room was clean -ok there was a bit of rust on the taps but that's nothing. The bath had recently been resealed&was clean. Room size good with nice towels and tea/coffee available. The location is great for lovely villages, stately homes and nice... More

Central location for Macc/Poynton and the Peak District. Shame there is no eating facility as Little Chef closed a while back, but alright if you like vending machines. Rooms well equipped and cleaned daily and were warm as plenty of snow when we visited. Plenty of pubs & eateries within a short drive of the Lodge. Free car parking with... More

After reading the reviews I was worried about staying in this hotel, but it turned out to be fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean as well as the bathroom. My workmate even got an extra breakfast box so I took it home with me. As others have said it is a tired Travelodge but... More

I think in general Travelodges are going down in quality whereas Premier Inns are getting better. We stayed here for one night costing us £15 and it's true you get what you pay for. The whole place is run down and tired, the bathroom especially with rust in various places, the electric heated towel rail disconnected for safety reasons, a... More

Stayed for 1 night for a nearby wedding and had an awful experience. Receptionist rolled his eyes and huffed when we asked to check in as if it were an inconvenience. The location is horrible, behind a boarded up old burger king, you won't feel safe to leave your car in the car park, some criminal activity of some description... More

Stayed for 2 nights in family room on special deal £12 per night. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking space. Need a car for to stay here as the onsite Little Chef has now closed down. Typical No frills Travelodge. Will stay again when available on special price deal.

Myself and 5 friends stayed at this hotel in September for 1 night as our friend was getting married in the area. Hotel was clean and tidy, the lady on reception was helpful when we arrived but the man during the night was a bit grumpy and did threaten to throw us out as we where being noisy!! oops. I... More

I come to Poynton Industrial Estate on two nights business 2/3 times a year and always try and book into the Adlington Travelodge. It is so convenient, being only a 2 minute car ride away from the purpose of my journey. I don't have any pretensions. Yes it's tired but not run down. Yes, the night receptionist can be a... More

We stayed for four nights in this conveniently located budget hotel. The room was clean and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel may be showing its age but in terms of value for money it was excellent.

Having been walking in the Peaks on the Saturday I thought it would be easy to find a b&b in Buxton or nearby without booking. I was wrong!! At 9pm and having given up on the b&b I decided to call travelodge. The lady at Macclesfield Adlington said she had one family room and would hold it for me until... More
