Do NOT be deceived by the somewhat tacky exterior, or the location; inside, the rooms are excellent, definitely up to par. Having stayed in some chain hotels recently, this motel stands out as cared for and modernized. Great value.

Don't let the building or small front office fool you. The rooms are great! One of the best values in northern bc. The room interiors are very nice. We got a fridge, desk, vanity mirror and a couch. Very cozy. If timing was better we would have stayed there again on our way back.

I have stayed and worked at many motels.I was truly impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the Bulkey Valley Motel.The management were very busy at the time,renovating rooms.The kitchnette unit we stayed in was very large and clean.The bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep.The motel is surrounded with mountainess beauty and great fishing.
