Clean, basic motel. Staff were only too happy to oblige. Towels were thin and on the small side. Strong smell in unit could have been cleaning materials, or from a previous smoker in a non-smoking unit. We cooked excellent steak from the adjacent grocery store on the motel's gas barbecue. we just pulled into hazelton and are staying here for the first time. we're so pleasantly surprised!!!! this place is clean, comfortable, newly updated, good furniture, nice bathroom, even has a fridge! i'm picky and i'd definitely stay here again!! the skeena bakery with awesome food and coffee is across the street, don't miss it!!!!

Do NOT be deceived by the somewhat tacky exterior, or the location; inside, the rooms are excellent, definitely up to par. Having stayed in some chain hotels recently, this motel stands out as cared for and modernized. Great value.
