My wife and I just returned from our tenth stay at this wonderful resort. We have vacationed at Cap Maison for at least a week or more every year since 2013, with the exception being the two Covid years. We normally enjoy traveling to different places in Europe and the U.S., but when it comes to getting away from the cold Philadelphia winters, if just for a short time, we feel we've found the ideal Caribbean resort and there's really no reason to go anywhere else. The views from almost anywhere are spectacular, the two restaurants are as good as or better than anywhere we've found in the Caribbean, and the services are excellent. The resort has done a complete remodeling in the past two years and we can see the subtle improvements. All of the suite furniture and fixtures are new, bathrooms have been remodeled and public spaces have been updated. Our king bed was super comfortable - it was tough getting up in the morning. There is a nice gym and my wife had plenty of room for her step aerobic workout while I exercised on one of the treadmills and the weight machines before we enjoyed a great breakfast menu at the excellent open-air Cliff at Cap Restaurant. After spending a few days by ourselves, we were joined by some of our extended family - siblings, grandkids, nephews, etc. - fifteen in all, and most had not been to Cap Maison. They had high expectations for this special family trip celebrating my brother-in-law's retirement, and their expectations, they told us, were exceeded, telling us this was truly paradise. The family had such fun at the beach swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, etc., and dining at the Naked Fisherman Restaurant at the beach--where the food is truly excellent. The Cap Maison beach managment was always so attentive to our needs, making sure we had chairs, towels, umbrellas, tables, and floaters. I took some of our group to Pigeon Point National Park where we did a nice hike to historic Fort Rodney and another day we made the short trip to the very atmospheric Castries Market. The resort makes things simple by lining up transportation. Some of our group did a fishing trip and the resort chef prepared their catches so we could share them at our family style dinner that night. One of our nephews played a round of golf at Cabot St Lucia which just opened a couple of months ago and is already rated the premier course in the Caribbean and is only about ten minutes away from the resort. We adults treated ourselves to a couple of group wine tastings in Cellar Maison which was a lot of fun. All of the adults had treatments at the excellent Spa Maison which offers couples massages and other services. And our entire group did a beautiful sunset catamaran cruise on our penultimate evening together. Finally and most importantly, since our first trip in 2013, the one constant remains the exceptional level of service. The staff at Cap Maison is extremely friendly, professional and attentive and the employees cater to every need and frequently go above and beyond. Many of them we consider friends after all these years. All in all, it was a great and memorable trip and all of our group is looking forward to another vacation at this wonderful island paradise.…
