You will probably only come across this hotel if you are walking the Camino de Santiago, but it might be worth searching out if you are touring in Northern Spain. The Hotel is signed from milestone 19 on the Camino. It is a very pleasant place with clean rooms, and maybe just as importantly a good bar and excellent but... More

This hotel is out of the way in that there is not much around it. We stayed there as we walked the Camino de Santiago (at KM 19) instead of going into Arca. From the start we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff greeted us. We originally stopped for lunch around 14:00 (I had the Tart Gallego which was superb). As... More

we stayed here in september while walking the camino, and i agree with other reviewers that it is just a little ways outside of town, so if you don't want to eat there,or the restaurant is closed, you do have to go out walking AGAIN. and seeing that we got to the hotel in the early afternoon, there was not... Excellent Hotel in a lovely picturesque area adjacent to the Camino Way and beside the tourist office.Bar and restaurant underneath, within walking distance of town to eat, if restaurant closed. Lots of mad dogs on the way to the hotel, however, all seemed to be behind bars, howled a lot but went quiet once it got dark. Not the owners... More

Nice hotel - it was very full while we were there but has a good atmosphere and tasty food. We had to sleep with our bathroom door shut because the pipes were picking up people's voices in nearby rooms and floors and made it sound like they were in our room! But with the door shut it was no problem.... More

This is a delightful hotel. It is clean, smart and extremely good value. All the furnishings are of good quality. The hotel has a ‘country cottage’ feel about it. The restaurant serves good food and the bar is a great communal area to sip a beer and talk about the day’s walk. On the first floor there is a charming... More
