Spent 2 nights at Lanavilla... but wished it was longer (was fully booked). Such a nice and peaceful place to stay! It is a bit far out, but as Muscat doesn't have a centre and is very stretched out, you need to have a car/taxi to get around anyway so it doesn't matter. Very helpful and nice people that runs... Recently spent three days there with my wife and son while diving down the coast. As good a guest house as you'll find in Muscat. Our experience at Lanavila was mixed, so I averaged it at a 4. The rooms and common areas are very nicely decorated, beautiful and homey (I rate them a five); the breakfast was good. They need to improve their booking and confirmation "system" however (rated a 2). For us, in spite of a confirmation email, the manager made some errors... More

very impressed about accommodation, service, location and everything else. Staff have been polite and very helpful ... love the fact that the bread was freshly baked every morning ... will definitely stay again ... looking forward to this. Many thanks!

Close by the beach, it has s relaxing atmosphere. It ha a homely feeling as you can enjoy your breakfast outside with the other guests and get to know your fellow guests. Also liked the free wifi. Mic and Laura and Mirna very hospitable.
