We had booked one night, anticipating a wonderful experience, according to their web-site. Reception staff were very impersonal, almost rude. No smile, no acknowledgement, no thankyou. Exceptional hotel. We booked based on reviews on tripadvisor and other guidebooks. Our room was beautiful, imagine a modern loft married to ancient villa. Highly recommend for dinner. This hotel was totally unexpected! It's in a villa from the 1700s but it has a hip "design" feel to it, think of stone walls and moden danish lights-- hard to explain but it's really cool!
