We just left Poggetto and wanted to share some tips to help the next visitors. First, you will need a car to even get to this place. The place is 1.7 kilometers off the main road and it's a very rough potholed road that should not be traveled at night as it is not paved. Once there, the surrounding area... More

Nice people, beautiful views, don't try to find it in the dark. The accommodations are adequate, but a little worn. The location in Tuscany is perfect for access to all that the area has to offer. Don't miss trying their estate made wine and olive oil.

We stayed at Poggetto 6 nights in a lovely fully equipped apartment, with living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, our own outdoor garden. The farm is located in the beautiful Chianti area of Tuscany and was close to all the hilltop walled cities we wanted to get to, plus a number that were off the beaten track and that we thoroughly... My husband and I stayed at this agriturismo as part of a trip around Tuscany. This was by far the best accommodation during our stay, and offered great value for money. The location is idyllic in the chianti valley, with the restored old farm surrounded by the owners vineyards and olive trees. But the agriturismo is also conveniently only 5-10... More

We stayed in the Il Melo room at this beautiful farmhouse and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For a price much less than most other agriturismo's in the region we were able to experience the beautiful Tuscan countryside and hospitality. This is a central location, the hosts are delightful, and their Organic Wine and Organic Olive Oil is to die for.... More

I guess the best review you can give someone is to say you will be back. Well, we are already planning a return stay at this location for next year. The owners were phenomenal, the location is great with easy to get to cities like Florence, Siena, Greve and Castellina itself. The rooms are amazing and up to date, the... More
