We stayed here in off season, October while traveling with friends. The hotel is of the Grand Old Dame type. It seems to be used mostly by Italians for special occasions and the dining room is absolutely gorgeous with an outdoor eating terrace also. Our rooms were large, clean, comfortable, pretty and opened on to a beautiful, huge terrace directly... More

"a 3* italian experience", good price, rather clean and comfy. pretty far away from center. what I didn't like was the hospital feeling, with ceramic floor, iron bed and so on, white furniture... pretty far from center.

Although the hotel abd rooms are quite outdated, the staff and food make up for it. Also the price is not that high

I recently spent time in the Fagiano Hotel as part of a wedding party. The hotel itself it lovely, with large rooms, many of which have terraces with either sea or mountain view. The sea view rooms were fantastic and the terraces were surprisingly big with lots of room to stretch out and relax. The main hotel terrace where meals... More

We loved the view from the restaurant. We had 2 separate rooms with 1 bathroom for 2 adults and 2 teens. The a/c worked well. There was a balcony looking over the entrance and gardens. It was very clean. A filling breakfast was included. There was a private beach for the hotel guests and the lifeguard set up our lounge... More

Not even in the local language - 'riscaldamento'. When examining the hotel, we explained that my wife required heat due to her health. The desk clerk said that he would turn it on while we were out to dinner... which he did. The radiator was nice and warm when we got back to the room, and we figured that the... More

I traveled with Celtic tours (1st tour vacation) the rooms were facing the parking lot and were dull also the towels supplied with the tour were thin cotton different than the thick terry towels provided for paying guests. The food offered to the tour was poor I chose to buy my own food & wine rather to dine with Celtic... More

I spent 11 days in the Hotel with my wife. The overall judgement about the services offered by the Hotel is very good. Make sure they give you a room with a view of the magnificent bay. Rooms facing the parking lot are quite sad and darker. The hotel is a three stars and the rating is appropriate. Staff is... More

We stayed at the Hotel Fagiano in Formia as part of a Celtic Tour. For European standards this place is very nice, the rooms are big, the bathrooms well equipt (weak hairdryers though). We had a room on the water with a balcony and a spectacular view. The staff was friendly, but often the internet was out of service (it... More
