Excellent hotel. Rooms very clean and fairly spacious with plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Breakfast and evening meals were of a good quality and the hotel were happy to swap evening meal for a packed lunch with prior notice. Excellent location, less than a 5 minute walk to the lakefront and the many bars and restaurants there. Bus station... More

From the welcoming glass of wine on arrival to the staff's thanks and goodbyes on leaving this was an excellent choice for a week in Garda. Far enough away from the town to be quiet but close enough (5-10 minute walk) to get there easily for the bus station, ferry landing or bars and restaurants. We travelled with Thomson and... More

Before booking, our 3 main requirements were, balcony, air con, and pool. That combo threw up the Imperial. Are we glad we chose it. From the sparkling wine on arrival to the handshakes on leaving it was excellent. We had a room at the front of the hotel (the pool is at the rear), on the third floor. The street... More

With it's unassuming entrance from the road, the Imperials archway reveals one of Garda's hidden little gems! Far enough away from the enchanting lake side to be quiet, but within a 5 minute stroll when needed. A small, but perfectly formed, family run hotel that offers all you would want from a Lake Break. The best Aperol Spritzers in the... More

Friendly welcoming greeting on arrival. The hotel is very well kept and very clean and tidy in all areas. The bedrooms are basic and you do have to pay 10 euros deposit for air-con(which was a must as it was 38 deg). The beds were very uncomfortable and very hard with 1 flat pillow, we struggled to get a decent sleep... More

When we arrived we were welcomed with some sparkling wine and made to feel very welcome. We had to leave a deposit of 20 euros for the safety box key and 10 euros for the air cpnditioning remote and then had to pay 1.50 euros per day for the safety box. we wasn't expecting this so that was 30 euros... This hotel was not our first choice but after staying there we were glad our first choice was gone. The staff were all friendly and could not do enough for you. The food was excellent with three choices for each course. Our room was on the first floor and the balcony was an excellent place to sit in the afternoon.... More

It was my families 10th time in staying at the Hotel Imperial in Lake Garda this year. There is nothing wrong with the hotel seeing as-though it's a few minute walk along from the lakefront. The food is gorgeous, yet fair enough they do need to state which foods are vegetarian and which foods are not. The family of the... More

We have recently returned from this hotel - this was our second visit as we loved it so much last year. Everything was as nice as it was last year - the only thing that I noticed this year was how warm the dining area was as it has no air conditioning - this needs to be installed as it... More
