we found ourselves hunting for a room in end-of-season paestum at the end of a long day. we were unable to locate our hoped-for b&b and we came across the park hotel. through the gates to a lot w/2 other cars we found towering pines surrounding a hulking old manse. the signora couldn't have been nicer. she was the only...
