Stayed at Hotel Pupetto in June 2010 at the advice of a local. It's the perfect hotel in Positano if you want to get away from the crowds, want your own private stretch of beach, and great service. It's on its own secluded part of the coast, just a five-minute walk around the cliff to the left of Positano as... More

We loved this hotel and it's staff! Fabio, the hotel manager, and Vito, hotel staff, were extremely welcoming and always went out of their way to make us feel at home. This is the only hotel in Positano that is directly on a private beach. We were secluded from the main town area but the main town was easily accessable.... More

We were upgraded to a superior room which was lovely as we had a pizza dinner for a pre wedding event also and hosted over 50 guests. The rooms are clean and basic but Italian in design with tiles and air con. The service was great and as its just around the corner from the main beach a nice private... More

I love this place. The family that owns the Pupetto, are very accomodating. They keep the hotel immaculate. The hotel is located on the Fornillo Beach, which is the prettiest in Positano, and very private. The restaurant on the premises is also excellent. We had great meals every day. More

This year in Positano was exceptional due to the unprecedented warm weather well into October. We again stayed at Pupetto Hotel even though the elevators were our of order. We understand that some people chose not to stay there because of that but it did not deter our enjoyment of the location in any way. Pupetto is a very basic... More

Lovely friendly staff and warm welcome. The room was clean, and right on the seafront, but a little basic. For the money though it's great value, and would def stay there again. More

First of all, Positano is a beautiful little town situated alongside the cliffs! It is a terrific place to stay and enjoy the scenery. Hotel Puppeto was a perfect fit for us because we wanted to stay in Positano, but not right in the busy part of it. Hotel Puppeto sits in a hidden cove, away from the hustle and... More

Friendly staff, perfect location, clean rooms, quiet, excellent restaurant - what more could you want. I would stay no where else in Positano if being close to the beach was important. More

This is a family run hotel where the Italians are more likely to stay. It is just around the bend from town and you escape the VERY touristy vibe in town. Four things that were great. 1/ Right on the sea/beach. Walk down just one level and there is a pebble beach with lounges/umbrella (rental fee). 2/ Because at sea-level... More

My family just returned from Italy, and after staying at 4 star hotels in Rome, Florence and Venice, we would rate Hotel Pupetto as our favorite resort. Our standard room was comfortable and clean, and had the most beautiful views of the lemon garden, the beach, the bay, the Bougainvillea and Positano's center. But the staff, the owner Fabio, the...
