Room had a view of the water but the whole hotel is outdated. Breakfast not good. Little value for money paid and owners are not dealing with wear and tear of the building. Savona has a great castle and churches, but not much more. It’s a big town without a lot of appeal.
Featuring tired seventies decor and a management style of tutting annoyance with guests, the Hotel Ariston is like a step back in time - and not in a good way.
Our non air conditioned, oppressive room was cheaply furnished and it's proximity to a busy road provided a sleepless night.
The bathroom, like the bedroom, was at least clean but...
