We spent 4 nights at Villa Milani in September. Upon arrival, we were unable to find the Villa and called the hotel for directions. The owner, Luigi, immediately drove into town to lead us back to the Villa. The staff were waiting to greet us and we were given a small tour of this fabulous Villa. A lovely lunch was... More

Staying in Villa Milani was a real joy. The reception rooms are small and intimate, with doors leading onto the terrace and gardens, with views of the town and hills, exquisite by day and night. The terrace area was transformed from breakfast to evening drinks. The rooms are extremely comfortable with beautiful furniture and spacious bathrooms. We spent time on... More

A few friends went to stay at Villa Milani for a long weekend and we certainly weren't disappointed. The villa is set on the hillside above the beautiful town on Spoleto so there are magnificent views over the valley and down onto the town. The town itself is a joy to visit with its extraordinary Duomo full of exquisite paintings.... More

We took a party of friends to Villa Milani in June - 2011 - and had the best stay of our lifetime. We go to Italy at least once a year and are used to high standards in this type of hotel but Villa Milani exceeded them all. The setting is magnificent and so convenient for Spoleto itself. We had... Set up above the town, the views are amazing. Peace, calm and tranquil. breakfast on your own terrace was superb and Luigi was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble from sorting out a hire car and train ticket details. He makes your stay very special. We stayed three nights as part of our honeymoon and hope to go... More

Luigi is the perfect host and speaks excellent English. His 10-room family villa and pool is elegant with stunning views of the Umbria valley, Spoletto and Montefalco. It's perched on a mountain but a convenient drive to the highway and downtown Spoletto. Excellent food and service and just a wonderful overall experience! More

Stayed for two nights in the Tower room. The view - WOW. The hotel sits on a hill and the room has no walls - just windows all around - fantastic. That said, you should be reasonably fit to book this room. As soon as you open the door to the room there is a flight of stairs to a... More

We recently stayed at the Villa Milani for 2 nights on a 10 year anniversary trip and loved every minute of it. The owner of the villa - who also lives there - and the staff were wonderful. Carson was particularly attentive and a terrific host. The views were spectacular and we loved the surrounding towns of Spoletto, Spelo, Bevagna... More

We spent two beautiful nights in Villa Milani. It was a special occasion, so we tried the huge Orione Tower.. the view from our room was terrific and we had a wonderful time there. 500+ euros/night is not a price for everybody but the tower worth every penny.. sorrounded by the incredibile nature of Umbria, you'll love to stay there!!...
