After visiting for the first time a number of years ago we've been back since! Its a great place for total relaxation and we've had some memorable dinners with some lovely people, despite no common language!

I recently stayed for four nights. The hosts are fabulous and the dining experiences in the evening were suburb. I probably had the best funghi risotto I will ever eat in my life one evening. The breakfasts were so-so. The place is getting somewhat rundown. I'm sure it was beautiful when it was first built many years ago. The driveway... More

We just end up at Orgiaglia by chance, following a road unkown to us in a "let's get lost in the Tuscan countryside" day. We just spend few hours with Franco's family and taste some Tuscan style specialities. Awesome. Truly recommendable. It was a wonderful experience that cheer us up the rest of the day. Thank you guys, you are... More

It really is isolated but the welcome you get makes it more than worth while. The food is rustic and hearty and meals together are amazing fun. Franco, Umberta and their daughters go out of their way to create a relaxing family atmosphere. We had wonderful evenings, lovely meals, international games of table football and were very close to nature.... More

Both. The family provides a warm welcome and the formula for dinner- eating with the family and other guests at a long table is good fun. The setting overlooking the Tuscan hills is great. BUT by the looks of it since the original investment in doing the place up (twenty plus years ago?) its been down hill all the way... More

Orgiaglia is set deep in the Tuscan countryside in the Berignone Nature Park, yet is within easy reach of San Gimignano, Siena, Florence. The views all around are stunning and natural. The atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. It is a family run establishment and nothing is too much trouble. The hospitality and service are magnificent. The accommodation is... More
