We stayed at the chateau based on the other excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. It's convenient location in the countryside near Bayeux was perfect for exploring the D-Day beaches and other areas of Normandy. Vincent & Corinne were wonderful hosts. The chateau and its grounds are lovely, our room was large, comfortable and immaculate with a modern bathroom. Vincent is an... More

We just completed a wonderful 7 night stay at Chateau de Damigny. Our hosts Vincent and Corrine (and their little boy Paul) treated us like family. The chateau itself is very conveniently located on the other side of A13 from Bayeux, and Vincent has a lot of good advice on where to eat, tour, and even where to buy gas... More

We stayed the last 3 nights at the beautiful chateau chateau de damigny ! First of all our host Vincent and Corinne were the best. We arrived at the train station with no plans , Vincent picked us up at the train station . We told him our plans to see the coast, and he called and rented us car... More

I stayed at the Chateau de Damigny for three nights with my ten and fifteen year old children. We were all thrilled with our time here. One could not ask for better hosts like Vincent and Corinne. As we did not have a car, Vincent picked us up at the train station and even went out of his way to... More

My wife and I stayed at Chateau de Damigny for two nights while we explored the Normandy region. The B&B is set about 5 minutes outside Bayeux and 25 minutes from the Normandy Beaches in a very cute chateau. The rooms are very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and included a spread of breads, rolls,... More

Vincnet went above and beyond during out stay at his Chateau. Our train arrived late, 11pm, and the taxi number we called went straight to voice mail. We called Vincent to get another taxi number and he came to pick us up at the train station instead. The Chateau itself is beautiful. The rooms are big and there is tea... More

The chateau is located just off the E46/N13 Caen to Cherbourg road, so it offers a good access to explore Normandy Beaches and other historical sites for anyone who is on a WW2 tour. It's also quite close to the historical town of Bayeux. You'll need to have a car in order to make most of your time if you... More

Our group of 4 (myself, my husband, our 2 year old son, and my Mom) stayed at the Chateau de Damigny for 4 nights - Oct 23-27. My Mom had the handicap-accessible room on the ground floor, while the rest of us stayed in the Henri suite on the first floor. Her room was very nice - clean, roomy, and... More

We love our stay at Chateau Damingy! Vincent, Corrine and little Paul are great hosts and really help make your stay comfortable. Our room was huge with a sitting room (sofa bed), bedroom, modern bath with a jetted tub and a solarium room. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained with nice little antique touches here and there. Vincent is an... More

If you would like to have nice dinner and go to bed right after dinner, stay here. Vincent, I believe he used to own his restaurant, is an excellent chef. A six course dinner with wine cost less than Euro 30. Very delicious. He accompdated my wife's dietary request. His breakfast is one the bests in European B&Bs we ever... More
