First impressions really count and Carol is a warm and friendly hostess. Everything about this experience went smoothly from the initial enquiry to when we reluctantly said our goodbyes. The Rose room was a delight and the easy chairs at one end of the room were an added bonus. Fast efficient wifi and recommendations from Carol as to sights around... More

Lovely, welcoming, characterful guesthouse with a courtyard garden and pool. If you can book the Rose room, go for that (it has the world's most comfortable bed). We really enjoyed our (too short) stay here. Carol is wonderful - friendly but not in your face (the ideal guesthouse owner). We will definitely be back.

A chance booking in a town we didn't know brought us to this lovely old town house, run by Carol, a longstanding English emigre. She was such a friendly and helpful host. Our room was a tad small but clean, stylish and perfectly adequate. Free WiFi. Carol stored our tandem in her back garden, neatly getting it off the narrow... More

Overall this was an enjoyable stay. Carol the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We stayed in the "capucine" room, I did feel this room could have benefitted from a little TLC. It is a good sized room, but the bedding is a little gloomy. The room would look much better with something a little brighter.... More

This was one of our favorite stops during our trip to France. This B&B was well taken care of, very clean, and very cozy. The breakfast is fantastic, and it's the perfect place to stay while exploring the Dordogne and all it has to offer. A million thanks to Carol, the owner of Maison Fleurie. She added so much to... Set in the centre of the beautiful Perigord town of Brantome, you will do well to find better accommodation and hospitality. Mostly due to the host herself we would have no hesitation in recommending this B&B/Chambre d'Hote. Mr & Mrs G. Berry. Northumberland, UK.

My wife & I stayed here for one night on 18th June 2010, and wished that we could have stayed longer. Our room "Capuchine" was comfortable, the bathroom (with bath) was fine & breakfast was excellent - unfortunately not by the swimming pool because of the weather. The charming owner Carol was more than helpful; at our request she had... More
