Our room was fairly basic but very large , clean and comfortable. Could do with some extra items such as tea/coffee making facilities but this is a minor quibble as the cafe is directly below. Iron and ironing board would however be appreciated. The key to this accommodation is the location. Open the doors to your balcony and look out... More

we stayed here in June 2012, have only recently returned hence the delay in posting this review....we had been recommended to Sarlat from friends and had trouble locating this B&B initially to book, but so glad we were successful....the room we had was huge, clean, fairly basic, but hey we're in a very very old building!! Carlos, Filo and Bruno... More

This was a really lovely hotel overlooking the main square of Sarlat. The windows and small balconies overlook restaurants, cafes and on Saturday morning the markets which is fascinating to watch from your window. We had no issues with noise. The location is close to everything. Our room was huge but sparsley furnished. The bed was good and the bathroom... More

At first glance (above a busy café) we wondered if we had made a mistake booking a room here. However, we weren't in the least disappointed. Although the amenities are basic (no tissues, for example) it is spotlessly clean and has the necessities. The main draw, however, is the location right in the heart of the beautiful old town of... We stayed five nights in this charming family run hotel which is located in the main square in the medieval part of Sarlat. Our room was huge and nicely decorated in a traditional style in keeping with the period of the building. I think the bedroom would benefit from having a second luggage stand and perhaps a waste paper basket.... More

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is right in the middle of Sarlat in the Place de Liberte - you do not get better than this. The place is pedestrianised and in the medieval city. Rooms overlook the beautiful place and are huge with large bathrooms. Breakfast is lovely - brilliant croissants, lots of bread, jam, fruit juice, fruit... More

Staying in this B&B was like something taken out of a movie. The rooms are located on the top two floors of a charming 18th century building right on Sarlat's main square. The street level houses the owner's cafe where one takes breakfast. The rooms are sparsely decorated, but are huge, clean, with hardwood floors and artistic french doors that... More

We got a nice, charming and huge room with a balcony to the main square. It is located on a historic building right in the heart of Sarlat-la-Caneda). We got the room late in the evening, without reservation and the staff was really helpful.

We had the pleasure, privilege, and joy to spend a week at Les Chambres du Glacier. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Our friends had the adjoining room and were equally delighted! To look out on the wonderful square (day and night...but especially on market day) was enchanting! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished.... More

we arrived in the rain with no advance reservation but M.Costa was charming and we had a great and large room overlooking the square with a good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was very good and taken outside in their restaurant below. We felt right in the centre of things and in fact stayed an extra night. It was terrific to... More
