The hotel is situated inside the walls. Perfect view over the bay. We had a very cosy room on the 3rd floor. Hint: just take a small overnight bag with you, there is no elevator and the spiral stair is very narrow. And please, do not eat at the hotel restaurant, the food was really inedible.

Hotel is in a good location with great sea views.. Food was mediocre and service poor. Hotel seems to share staff with Auberge two doors down as we had to have a very crowded breakfast there.. And no staff to greet you, show you to your room or indeed take payment the following morning.

Had a great couple of rooms and a wonderful experience staying on the island. It was so quiet at night and we felt like we were the only people in the world. Loved looking up at the Abbey at night and walking the ramparts without all the crowds. It's worth the extra bucks to be there alone.
