Stayed there 2 nights in Sept 2012. Free parking. Air conditioning. Not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but the hotel itself is a very good choice for the price. Helpful reception. There's a bus stop by the hotel which takes you to the port/bus terminal in 5-10 minutes, 1 euro I think the ticket. Just get the schedule on... More

“Sea Shore Hotel - good location”

The Hotel Plage St Jean is at very good location with a grand sea view . The breakfast served is also very nice and tasty. Very friendly staff that gave us great support. Only minus - room was very small ...but we got by.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June. Our room had side sea view. Nice comfortable hotel, clean and friendly. Reading prev reviews people had commented on the small bathroom, yes it was small but for a few nights stay didn't cause any inconvienience. Staff very friendly and helpfull. “Nice hotel by the beach (Stoney path..)”

Loved this hotel for two nights...very clean and nice staff. Although the shower is tiny, we got by and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very good and well worth the 9.5euro.

“Great, clean hotel right next to the sea”

I just spent 4 nights at this hotel and loved every minute. The staff was friendly, the hotel clean and comfortable, and private access to the Mediterranean can't be beat! In addition, my small dog was accepted everywhere in the hotel for no extra charge. We will definately be back to La Ciotat and to the Hotel Plage St Jean!... More

Yes the Shower/toilet/basin is very small. Difficult to see how you could stay for more than a day or two. Best Western in Town recommended Hotel Plage St Jean but it is nothing like the Best Western or just borderlines on a 3 star rating. “Good hotel but no beach”

Hotel was OK as such, clean rooms etc. but there isn't really a beach. Yes the hotel borders on the Med (sort of) but the shore is very rocky on this spot.

This hotel is fine -- modern, clean, nice rooms decorated in a nautical style, pretty lobby and access to the sea.
