We have recently returned from a 6 night stay at Trappers Crossing. We enjoyed a fantastic experience with the accommodation well above expectation. We were travelling with 3 adults and 2 children. Our apartment had plenty of room and we all enjoyed our private hot tub after a days skiing. I agree with many other comments on this property it... More

Hello Heather M, Thank you for providing such thoughtful and thorough feedback regarding your recent stay at Big White Ski Resort. We have been receiving a number of reviews mentioning the Ski-in/Ski-out access of this building. We do advertise that the village at Big White is ski-in/ski-out, however due to roads and other properties there are a number of buildings... More

We just spent four nights here in unit 19 and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The village market was just across the street and it's an easy walk to bars and restaurants. The private hot tub facing the mountains behind the resort was absolutely wonderful. Having a glass of wine and... More

The 6 of us stayed at Trappers Crossing last spring break. This is not a ski in-ski out property. If you stay in one of the northern units, you will be woken up constantly between 12 and 2 am as the path to the bar is located right outside your window. The sound quality is terrible, you can hear everything... More

Clean, well equipped townhouse style accommodation perfect for a family. Close to everything. You can walk to ski school or ski down the back way (slightly tricky). Heated garage if you drive up, great ski locker and wifi - couldn't ask for more.

Booked through central reservations at Big White and were told it is one of their premier location and is Ski in and out. Not! Location is overall good and about a minute walk to the village. Bed in unit 27 was very soft and bouncy. . Kids slept on the floor as the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The jets... More

This is our 4th time at Big White and stayed in 5 different places, Trappers is a great location being a short walk across the road to the centre of the village. Our 3 bedroom plus apartment is well equiped, clean and cosy with a private hot tub. The only downside is that it is not truly ski in/ ski... More

If you want ski in ski out - dont pick Trappers Crossing! FALSE ADVERTISING is when a lodge is advertised as ski in ski out and is not. In fact we contacted the resort management in case we were missing a hidden access trail and they said they often had trouble because this lodge was advertised as ski in ski... More

We stayed at Unit 19, Trappers Crossing for 7 nights in Feb 2009. Great location, definitely ski in, ski out. The condo was warm and cosy with a quality kitchen, fireplace with good storage for snowboards, boots, etc. We would definitely go back.

Trappers Crossing is an excellent pick for anyone wanting to ski at Big White. They have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos. All rooms have a fireplace, full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, laundry and their own private hot tub on the balcony. It takes about 2 minutes to walk into the village centre where the Hummingbird run starts from.... More
