Brynarth is a perfect place to visit, everything about it is of the highest quality, I stayed for 5 nights and had the most wonderful time. James and Stuart are very knowledgeable about the area and can give loads of tips on places to visit. The rooms are delightful, food and service excellent (James' slow cooked lamb shank and Stuart's... More

A beautiful guest house set in idyllic countryside was what met us as we rolled up and tumbled out of our vehicles. We were working in Aberystwyth that evening, a short 20 minute drive away, but James and Stuart were more than happy to check us in earlier in the day so all we had to do when we returned... More

Brynarth is an absolute gem tucked away in the beautiful mid-Wales countryside. As well as the accommodation and grounds being absolutely stunning, James and Stuart who run the guest house, were the most wonderful hosts. We were given a really warm welcome on arrival, and they were brilliant at suggesting places we could go and visit and some beautiful country... More

Just 20 minutes drive to Aberystwyth, nestled in beautiful countryside is this absolute gem. The hosts Stuart and James are charm personified and give great attention to the little details like fresh flowers in your room and tea and welsh cakes served by the inglenook fireplace when we arrived. They even lit the route from the carpark with little lanterns... More

A lovely warm welcome awaited us on our arrival at this lovely old farmstead (300+ years old)set in rolling landscape in the Ceredigion countryside, about 20 minutes from Aberystwyth. Lots of squishy sofas and rustic furniture gives the place a very homely feel. The bedrooms are spacious and warm, with very comfortable beds, tastefully decorated and nice hot showers. Outside... We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at Brynarth. Welcomed into the warm cosy lounge by James and Stuart with tea, coffee and welsh cakes, things were looking good. A family of four, we had the double and twin with the shared bathroom which were ideal for us as we were all together in what felt like... More

What an utterly beautiful location to have a guest house! Breathtaking scenery for mile after mile as you cross the Cambrian mountains, finally arriving at Brynarth, set in a verdant cwm surrounded by a mixture of upland farms and woodland. There are some great walks right on the doorstep from lazy rambles along woodland tracks to the more challenging and... More

We have just returned from 3 days break at Brynarth. On arrival, the owners James, Stuart and Brian the dog welcomed us, and we had tea, coffee and warm welsh cakes whilst sat by a log fire. Our rooms were lovely and clean and the bed was really comfy. After a long drive and an afternoon of exploring, we had... More

We had a fabulous stay at Brynarth, driving from the Midlands through fantastic scenery, watching red kites soar over the snow capped mountains and dipping down, via Devil's Bridge. Brynarth is in a lovely secluded setting surrounded by woodland, fields with baby lambs and a pretty garden. We were greeted with tea and Welsh cakes and shown to the comfortable... More

Off the beaten track but a real hidden treasure. Wonderful quiet location where you hear nothing at night and can rest and relax in a comfortable lounge with an open inglenook fireplace.
