Visited here on a Thursday evening using the dine for £10 for two courses from the local paper. The service was excellent. The food was good and hot. We were seated in the new dining room so the surroundings were very nice. Didn't try the pie (for which they are famous for) but was tempted, so will return.

Stayed at the Black Bull mainly because it is close to Cambridge (used the park & ride great!). Wanted to see all that Cambridge had to offer but not stay in the city centre. This was our first visit to The Black Bull and we found it to be a very friendly and comfortable.It was quiet when we were there but we were well pleased with the service and the very young staff were very attentive.Food was great. The rooms comfortable.We would recomend

The staff were very welcoming and courteous. Service was very efficient and friendly. The food was very good. Lovely pie. We've not been out here for some time and were very pleased to see how much the service has improved. My husband is a real-ale enthusiast and enjoyed a pint or two of well kept ale.

Great stay in a warm, cosy and immaculately clean double room. Dinner was fantastic ( the legendary Black Bull Pie) and the staff were welcoming and very friendly making me feel like a regular local at the pub. Can't wait to be back in the area on business so I can stay again.

This was my first visit to the Black Bull and it did not disappoint, The venue is beautiful, it has been renovated to maintain all its original character without being over-done. The food was superb and the staff excellent. Friendly, professional and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Very nice people. Quiet cozy pub environment. The most amazing pie I have ever eaten (the signature Black Bull pie). Really good presentation, phenomenal taste, and extremely filling! I have been there twice now (since these pies have been available) and plan to be back soon (despite the fact that I live in the US!).

They were exceptionally helpful in taking an food order over the phone when we were unexpectedly delayed on a recent visit. A lovely hot meal was waiting for us and the staff continued to be friendly and helpful.
