We always use this travelodge when we visit the area and yes, the decor is a bit tired but the staff are friendly, the rooms tidy and the towels and linen clean and fresh. It is a shame that the Little Chef has gone as the staff there were great too but this is still a great little place.

No complaints whatsoever. Friendly reception. Excellent value for money. Very clean, lovely white towels, crisp white bedlinen. Everything you need for a comfortable stay without wasting money on completely unnecessary frills. Would happily visit again - silly not to.

we stayed here for one night as we went to our friends wedding, the room was clean and tidy the staff were very helpful. the lodge itself was very dirty and grubby, dirty walls and ragged carpet. This is really in need of a complete refurb.

Room we stayed in had no problems,all clean tiles,toilet and clean every where . Good location to Stratford upon Avon. Sad no Little chef on Mcdonalds. But as a Spar and BP on site. Will be happy to stay again as its the cheapest in the area.

Was sent to this Travelodge as our original booking at Bromsgrove was over booked even though we booked a month in advance! Lady on reception was very apologetic about the fact that we had had to travel a further 15 miles late at night. We stayed for the one night and cannot complain. The room was clean and quiet and although the Little Chef across the car park is now closed, the receptionist gave us a list of various places to eat. The only problem i have with Travelodge in general is the shower and that you cannot lower it.. I hate my head/face... More

This Travelodge is located on the services off the A46 dual carriageway, yet inside the room we couldn't hear any traffic at all. It's basic but clean and well situated not far from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Stayed here for a three night break over easter. Well placed for Stratford. Loads to do in area. Little Chef has now closed but the people in the shop at the garage are great. Bought some drinks from there and offered to open them for us, told us they always keep a bottle opener and corkscrew for the hotel guests.... More

We've stayed here a number of times, it's cheap, clean, warm and comfortable. Staff always pleasant, very good value for money. Rooms are a good size, plenty of hot water. Good location for visiting Stratford, Evesham etc, Alcester itself is a lovely small market town. Good pubs, decent food available, two or three minutes drive from the hotel. For what... More
