What a fantastic place to stay! Absolutely everything you could wish for to make a very special break. The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable with the best attention to detail. The farmhouse is absolutely wonderful and retains the charm of years gone by. Our every need and comfort was catered for by an extremely attentive and considerate hostess in... More

A warm, welcoming and beautiful little b&b in a rustic town amidst the gorgeous peaks and dales of Derbyshire. The house was traditional and cosy, and it still had all the modern comfort and facilities you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The hostess couldn't have been nicer, she gave a family feeling to our hotel stay, still leaving us... More

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Castle Hill Farm House, Bakewell. Not only is the accommodation immaculately presented and maintained, the proprietor was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were welcomed into the house, shown our delightful room and offered tea and cake. We found everything we could possibly... More

I found this B + B on Tripadvisor and it looked just what I wanted for a last-minute birthday treat for my husband. I phoned at short notice and was lucky enough to get a room - friendly, professional host. When I let family know we's be away they said they'd aranged a surprise evening for us! We had to... More

This place was absolutely adorable. Christine is a great, she was friendly, helpful, but never intruding. She is also a great cook, breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. We ate so much at breakfast we didn't have to eat again until well into late afternooon. There are lots of brochures in the dining rooom regarding the area. You can plan your... More

We have just returned from a wonderful stay with Christine at Castle Hill Farm House and can certainly recommend it 100 % from the very warm welcome with home made cakes and pot of fresh tea to the muslim bag of lavender given to us as a keepsake from her garden on leaving. The bedroom and shower room were beautifully... More

Lovely place and great breakfast. Lots of lovely touches like we were given tea and cakes when we came in in the afternoon , and a lift back to our car (which we left at a wedding venue). Spotless, modern, nicely decorated room with hairdryer and wifi. Only one point deducted under rooms as our bathroom was not ensuite. It... More

We can only add our own heartfelt praises to the other reviews. Christine has a small, charming farmhouse which she lovingly tends. Her welcome was warm, our room was lovely, our bathroom was sparkling clean and breakfast was exceptional. (If our plans had allowed us to stay longer, we would have asked for "half-portions" and still would have been well-satisfied... More

After searching for a few minutes the right entrance to Baslow Road, we just entered a dream.. The cottage was just what I dreamt of half of my life.. The lady welcomed us very warmly and show us to our beautiful and clean room. Everything in the cottage was perfect, clean, shiny and pretty! The breakfast was a super one,... More

A brilliant B&B in every way. Christine is a lovely, warm lady and her B&B was the best we've ever stayed in. Great location, exceptionally clean, delicious breakfasts (using local produce), yummy tea and cake, comfortable room. We'll be back! More
