We stayed in The Bear Gryls suite near to the Bagshaw Hall, (The Lodge) We met the women in the carpark and she was really friendly and nice. The room was really modern with a double shower in the ensuite and a little kitchen area. It was beautiful the bed is massive and really comfortable. I really loved this room... More

On arrival here we were impressed by the stunning building. As there is no reception as such on site we rang the number on the door to say we had arrived, the lady said she would send someone over. The colleague that met us was unfriendly and took us to the lodge which is a tired 1960s looking addition to... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a night at Bagshaw Hall and we had a great time! The Hall is gorgeous, the decor is a mix between classic and modern with great abstract paintings and sculptures throughout the building. We stayed in the Garden Suite, yes the ceiling at the entrance of the room is a bit low... More

Lovely place in superb, uphill Bakewell location. Great for access to the village, plenty of pubs/restaurants to cater for all tastes/prices. Superb access to walks, check out mondal head, stunning views! Positives for accomodation would be location, house (very pretty), self catering, dog friendly, nice decor. Could improves would be around the finer/personal touches - the curtain rail was hanging... More

They totally ripped us off! :( please stay away!!! SCAM is not the word simply because we had not seen the invoice they made their own... More

This client booked their accommodation through Booking.com NOT through us direct The price charged is exactly what she booked through Booking.com for an apartment in the Sleeplodge for two adults in the bedroom and two children under 6 on the sofa bed in the living room, for Bank Holiday Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and the price is in line with... If you like to have a large room in a character house, then this is the place to stay. Location in Bakewell is excellent but there is a steep hill if walking into town. Some of the fitting have their own "character" and are not in keeping with a 400 year old property. However the room was large and very... More

Great staff, couldn't do enough. Room clean and well presented (Kitchenette a great addition) Great location for Bakewell. Would definately stay again. Don't go to the Peacock for drinks, unless you want a 'Fawlty-Towers' staff experience!

We stayed in the Michael Palin apartment in the Sleep Lodge which is adjacent to the old hall over the Easter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was three of us staying including a 9 week old baby and we have to say we were pleased we got this room. There are two parts to the hotel and the... More

We stayed in the sleep lodge which I was a bit apprehensive about but it was lovely, room was warm and very clean. We were staying because it was located closely to the virgin balloon site take off - this was called off because of the snow. The lady that greeted us was very nice, explained the best way to... Great little find 2 minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell. Huge room, wonderfully comfortable bed, nicely appointed. It was beautifully quiet and strangely - brilliantly - warm considering the weather was freezing. Check out and check in were completely fuss-free, even though we turned up very late because of a snowy journey. I would have liked to see really... More
