Lovely,high, clean standard accommodation ,attention to detail,very welcoming with pot of tea on arrival;and a varied menu for breakfast can be ordered the night before.Overall i would definitly recommend a stay and return in the future. Ideal central location for visiting chatsworth house and alike.Lovely hosts.

i stayed here for the Easter weekend, and i must say it was very nice, good location for local amenities, good breakfast choices, and the nicest bit was the personable attention to detail in the room with little chocolates on the bed & a bottle of water. good value for money.

Very good standard B&B in an excellent position for visiting the local areas. Located down a 'dirt road' at present due to local building work but very convenient for Matlock walking across the park at the rear of the property. Absolutely lovely. Possibly the cosiest bed that I have ever slept in. It was snowing when we went and i still woke up really toasty! Cedar House had everything we could have needed. A wide selection for breakfast, including vegan cooked options, as well as fruit, yoghurt and cereals. A close walk to the station, which was handy for us.

Stayed here last weekend..it doesn't look much from the outside but what awaits you inside is comfort and cosiness. Booked here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. What a gem! Made our reservation very last minute (5pm) and received excellent service from the beginning. A very warm welcome, beautiful room with excellent facilities. We arranged a very early breakfast and were not disappointed. Brillaint location, quiet, with good parking. Thoroughly recommended.
