Stayed there in the long August Bank Holiday gone. Cant say enough about Cloonmara and the owners, Blandina & Michael. They run a quality b&b, where every need is taken care of to the highest degree. We arrived greeted by both Michael and Blandina (& their friendly family dog) and were shown to our room. Very cosy but still ample... more
We can only confirm saravags' statements: Clonmara was absolutely our favourite of the 12 B&Bs we stayed at during our trip in Ireland. Of all of the B&B's we stayed at while in Ireland, Clonmara was our favorite. The view on to the sea was beautiful, the location was convenient to town, the rooms were inviting and the hosts were accomodating. Michael took time to explain a bit about Irish football to us and Blandina even dried the laundry I had hung out... more
