My family of 5 and I stayed in three of the rooms at Cloisters in August of 2011. We loved our stay here. Our hosts, Orla and Aileen were wonderful and gave us true and honest restaurant choices in town, which we also enjoyed. The rooms are on the smaller size, but very clean and cozy. Parking is a bit... More

The Cloisters was a very nice B & B and the hosts were especially helpful and hospitable. Our room was very small, but we were aware of its size in advance. It was very well decorated and very comfortable. The parking was a challenge, especially on Sunday, since they used the parking lot for the Church across the street. One... More

Stayed at Cloister B&B with my husband. We run a B&B ourselves so were very careful we made a good decision about which B&B we picked. We were not disappointed. Lovely clean rooms, welcoming hosts and good advice about what to do and where to eat. The bed was so comfortable. It was a real treat to get our breakfast... More

It was a bit frantic arriving to the Cloisters B&B as Kinsale is a maze of small twisty roads that almost made my Garmin GPS cry. But like the pot gold at the end of the rainbow so lies the Cloisters. From the outside the place is very nondescript and you might just walk by it if you were randomly... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Cloisters in September and felt absolutely at home and comfortable. The bed was cozy and it really felt like home. Orla and Aileen were so helpful and helped us to plan our trip while in Ireland. Their recommendations for dining and shopping were spot on! My husband is still raving about the... More

We arrived on a Sat afternnon late Sept 2010. Since our reserved rental car was not at Cork Airport, they gave us one of their BIG WIDE airport shuttle buses! Negotiating Kinsale's roads in that bus that day was an experience I hope not to repeat. When we finally found Cloisters, couldn't find place to park due to a wedding... More

We stayed for 2 nights during the first week in September at The Cloisters. Orla and Aileen welcomed us in even though we were on the early side. Got us settled and joined us for cofee and fresh scones and jam. They go out of their way to do a lot of special stuff for you, e.g. emailing a detailed... More

The house is beautiful, very clean and quaint! Tea tray in our room. The bedding was fabulous, and our street was very quiet. Our host was very accommodating, she took us in early and gave great restaurant and shopping advice. Located two minutes from the center of town. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent. We will definitely return... More

We are two couples who stayed at the Cloisters B&B the nights of 11-13 Sep. It was a superb experience. We expected good from Rick Steves' book, but our experience was much better than good. The B&B is centrally located in Kinsale enabling us to walk to anyplace in the city, but still quiet. Parking was easy. Our hosts were... More
