In July,2011, we stayed at Atlantic Shore for two nights. Our host, Maggie Doyle, was as welcoming as any host could ever be. There is fresh coffee and tea upon arrival. The rooms are lovely. The view is spectacular. Bantry is a grand Irish town, conveniently located, great culture and history, exceptional church, lovely shopping, and the friendliest people you... More

My sister and I stayed with Maggie for 5 days and it was hard to leave in the end. We felt so totally pampered. Usually we are the ones to wait on others and it felt so nice to be on the receiving end. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view towards Bantry Bay through our large picture window.... More

We booked here because of all the wildly positive reviews on Trip Advisor, but our experience was a bit different. We were met by a surly gentleman, who remained reluctant every time we dealt with him. We found the proprietress very full-on, so it was difficult to relax around her. The shared breakfasts were also a bit of an ordeal:... More

We stayed with Maggie for three nights while touring the south west or Ireland. The whole experience was a joy. Maggie is simply the best hostess in Ireland, the breakfasts are fit for a king; My wife Fiona had a bad cold while there and Maggie gave her a bottle of liquid which did the trick (we will not say what... My husband and I stayed here with my parents for a few nights and it was brilliant! I would highly suggest a stay. The house is well located, just outside Bantry, with a lovely view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. But what really makes it is the hostess, Maggie. She is so very friendly, helpful and provides the best... More

This is one of the best b&b's we ever stayed in. Maggie is a wonderful hostess, the rooms are very clean and spacious and ours offered a fantastic view of Bantry Bay. The breakfast Maggie serves is outstanding - absolutely gorgeous homemade bread, scones, muesli, jams, fresh fruits - just everything you wish. All in all a highly recommendable b&b!! More

Maggie is an absolutely fantastic hostess; well worth the enthusiastic reviews she has received so far. Our room had the perfect view of Bantry Bay and we wished we could have stayed an extra night. The B&B location is just a short walk from the Bantry town centre. To find the B&B, you need to head North out of Bantry... More

Over the years I have been a regular visitor to Bantry and I have stayed in many different accommodations including hotels and B&Bs. Atlantic Shore is, by far, the best accommodation I have stayed in there. Other members have reviewed this B&B in detail here and I can find very little in there reviews with which I can’t agree or... More
