We were looking for a place at short notice due to a family bereavement. This place fitted the bill perfectly. It's location was handy for walking into the town and also was very close to our relatives homes. The owner was friendly without being "in your face" and the food was wonderful. I can thoroughly recommend this B&B and I... More

The Sea Breeze was perfect in every way. The location is perfect and picturesque. The hosts could not have been better. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. The breakfast were made to order with great choices. The host and her family could not have been better. The extra treat of having her daughter and friend entertain with Irish dancing. We... More

passed through Castletownbere on our visit of the Beara Peninsula and stayed one night - it was the best stay ever! The B&B is snuggling up the hill side and the view from the rooms is just stunning! The room was comfortable, warm and cosy. Mrs McGurn is a wonderful host, she gave us the most warm welcome and we... More

I booked one night (from 1st February 2013 to 2nd February 2013). We were 3 friends, coming from France, Italy and Brazil. I would recommend the Hotel to everybody, the best i think in the area. Mrs McGurn was really nice, helpful and tried to do her best to make our stay be perfect. Ask for room #5, big room,... More

After reading all the wonderful reviews here on Tripadvisor, we were expecting good things but, unfortunately, the B&B didn't live up to expectations. We were out all day so all we really wanted was a warm room and a hot shower in the morning- the rooms were cold when we got back in the evenings and the shower was unpredictable.... More

We wish we had stayed more than one night! It was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Our ensuite was large, execeptionally clean, and the beds were the most comfortable of any place we stayed while in Ireland. Our view was of the sea and it was super quiet. The place was cozy and welcoming. The McGurn's make you... More

Waking up and taking a walk outside after a great night sleep in a very comfortable room was terrific. The McGurn's do a fantastic job of making you feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent with homegrown ingredients used to provide a great taste. Truly a breathtaking place which I highly recommend!
