Much has been written about this B&B and I will aim to be as objective as possible. I visited with a group of friends in May 2012 and this involved sharing one of the cottages with my party. I therefore can't comment too much on soundproofing as we had all supped a few pints in the evening. However the walls... More

We agree with 'BLING999' - This B&B would have the worst beds ever. Not only did every spring stick into every part of your body they had plastic on the mattress that crinkled every time you moved. My husband was in pain for 2 days afterwards. The pub wasn't as bad - pub grub for dinner and usual irish breakfast.... More

This place is awful! Accommodation, literally, consists of a box with nowhere to hang your clothes. It is a very small 4 room cottage broken up into 4 double boxes. with no soundproofing. One could be forgiven for thinking that you were a voyeur, on the set of an x rated movie listening to the goings on in the next... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here a few times years ago and felt it was good value for money. Went back recently with a member of my family and wasnt impressed. I think it is definitely overpriced nowadays. Accomodation, being little houses near the pub is very, very basic and has not been updated at all and you can hear... More

I stayed here for one night and beleive me will never again! Ur stuck in a little room in a four bedroom cottage with no sound proof between the rooms so you can hear every conversation between the other guests. Many of the cottages were empty when we stayed so they could have spread the guests out, but they didn't... More

Had not read your reviews before my partner and I went to the Cottage Inn last year. Thank god we didnt. We had a fabulous time. Everyone was so friendly, lovely and clean and for the price we paid, food you couldnt fault it. We were on a Harley, going around Ireland, and were going again this year. Loved the... More

I stayed one night in this establishment and am still fuming at the arrogant, unfriendly attitude of the owner. The rooms were tiny and grotty, the car park littered with 2 or 3 rusty vans filled with junk. The bathrooms were smelly. AVOID - AVOID- AVOID. We stayed at a B&B down the road in Glengarrif the following night, the... More
