This bnb was excellent. The rooms were beautiful. The views great. Breakfast was perfect and the hosts very helpful and friendly. Good recommendation for supper at a nearby pub ( The Quays). Easy parking and lovely village to walk through.

We loved this B & B from the pictures, the booking was easy and the owners were delightful. Great location and good parking. We had a great time at this precious home-away-from-home. The room was lovely in every way, the breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed walking around in this lovely town of Youghal. We also enjoyed a nearby Pub... More

Dear Jean, We are so pleased that you found every aspect of your stay enjoyable and that you felt the same way about Youghal itself. It's very good of you to have taken the time to say so in your review. I think the pub you liked was probably 'The Quays' bar. It's beautiful inside and they serve a great... More

We spent 2 nights at La Petite Auberege, one in a deluxe room and one in a "standard" third floor room. Both were lovely! The B&B is incredibly well situated for wandering Youghal, and the hosts are warm and charming. Breakfast was perfection, and the breakfast room is gorgeous. We'll be staying at La Petite Auberge again and recommend it... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your enthusiastic appraisal of our B&B. It is in an excellent location for Youghal's amenities and yet the area is generally very quiet and peaceful at night. We're glad that you were equally happy with one of our standard double rooms (having moved from a superior room when you wanted to stay another... More

Stayed here for a night recently while visiting Youghal. Could not fault anything...and the breakfast was better than any 4 if not 5 star hotel would provide. I would recommend this B&B to anyone , and proof as if needed that very often hotels are not always the best option for short breaks. Location was excellent but more importantly room... More

Stopped in on our way to Cork, just looking for a room because we were tired. Saw La Petit Auberge, and thought we would try it. Our host showed us our room, simply stunning! Large and spacious, beautifully appointed, with quite roomy bathroom. Directed us to a fantastic pub about 100 yards away. We had an awesome dinner and crawled... More

Dear Daddyrpm, We were so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found Youghal to be a great place as well. This area is a relatively 'undiscovered' part of Ireland and yet it is steeped in history and has some amazing scenery on the doorstep to rival anywhere in the country. As we recall you told... More

This is a small (four rooms) B&B, quaint with wonderful water view. Youghal is a gem of a town to stay in. Lila and Dave, the hosts, are warm, helpful, friendly, and "down to earth". The price is a bargain. The home is filled with Dave's art, available for purchase, but not promoted. The breakfasts are whatever one wants, generally,... More

This is what every B&B should be: centrally-located, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable, with welcoming hosts and delicious breakfasts. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped (modern en-suite bathroom, fluffy towels, TV, kettle, hairdrier, even a good number of hangers) and very prettily decorated (painted furniture, lots of pillows). The breakfasts are worthy of a top-flight hotel, with a choice ranging... More
