Stayed here last year and the place was very average but also extremely cheap. There are no airs and graces about the place. If they revamped and restored it to its former glory, i'm sure they could be a lot more upmarket but they recognise their client base and sensibly stick to it. For the 2nd year running i have returned to the grand hotel. This yeah there was a new receptionist called Meena who i have to say for me nd the children made the trip most enjoyable.
