We stayed here for 2 nights in late April whilst on a family history 'tour' of Ireland. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay, Catherine and David are great hosts, very warm and friendly and a fountain of local knowledge. Our room was large, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed, especially an iron - very welcome... More

Very friendly hosts, comfy bed and excellent breakfast. I was welcomed with coffee and homemade biscuits which was very nice after a long drive. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Very welcoming, will definitely be going back hopefully in the near future.

Stayed here in August along with another couple of friends, gorgeous old Georgian house with proper furniture, tea and home made biscuits on offer as soon as we arrived, and every time we came in the door thereafter. Very welcoming, will definitely be going back.

Catherine starts your stay off with awesome hospitality and it never stops. Enjoyed every minute of our time at Kilbrogan House. Our luggage was carried up three flights of stairs by Catherine in her attempt "to stay fit" !! Catherine accomodated our every want & need. This included driving us to dinner and arranging a ride back from dinner with... More

I cannot say enough good things about Kilbrogan House. I am only sorry that we were not staying there longer! Catherine is a wonderful hostess and after showing us to our room, had tea, coffee and homemade biscuits served to us in the conservatory. Tea was of the leaved variety and coffee in a cafietere. Excellent start! It is a... More

Catherine was so welcoming from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Great comfortable rooms, clean, everything you expect to find in a good hotel plus iron and ironing board if needed and all in this lovely B&B. Excellent breakfast and tea or coffee and home made biscuits appeared whilst we relaxed in the lovely guest lounge.... More

Stayed in Kilbrogan House again in April 2012. The house and gardens are wonderful, as is the warm welcome from Catherine. The bedroom was large, elegant and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a trout, caught in the river, served as a special order!

Four of us stayed at Kilbrogan for St Patricks weekend. The rooms were impressive, very warm, comfortable beds, lovely antique furniture, built in wardrobe, own ensuite bathroom with powershower and there is tea making facilities in each room. We enjoyed a grilled breakfast each morning and were able to gain wifi access in the large sitting room. Catherine and David... More
