This is a little place, different than your average B&Bs with fantastic warm atmosphere, wide equipped comfortable kitchen, fire place, and above all Carol at the desk was brilliant, helpful and full of energy to assist. The room (double private) was rather small by size but clean, warm and nice basic wooden decor .Bed was comfy. Highly recomended. Tnx

Lovely, cosy hostel in a lovely cosy little town. Great Irish music scene here in Doolin, and you are a short hop from the cliffs of mohair. A good place to stop on the west coast. A trip to the arann islands is another must do.

Excellent location and very friendly and helpful Aussie host. Warm fire place in the old 300 year old stone building. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Breakfast available. The Aille River hostel deserves every one of the awards that so casually inhabit its windowsills. The common room and kitchen are both great. The room we stayed in was unbelievably nice: the bunks were comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathrooms were clean and functional. The Aille River Hostel has definetly earned every single award it got so far and I'd even give them another one. With the nice and warm common room, the cozy wooden bunk-beds and the enourmously friendly staff it has been the perfect place to spend some November nights in. I recommend it without hesitation!
