What a gem. My girlfriends and I did a whirlwind 6-day tour of Ireland in November 2010. We had no agenda. We would party all night long and get up in the morning and hop a bus to the next city. We found ourselves in Doolin on Sunday. We were a tad worried when we arrived because we didn't realize... More

Joan and Martin were terrific. We only stayed one night in Doolin this time, but they were as hospitable as if we were staying a month. We were on a short trip for a family wedding and I booked Dubhlinn House to be closer to Shannon on the morning of our return. We arrived much later than I expected (8:30pm... More

A thoroughly pleasant and welcoming B&B in a nice area. A very nice room, good breakfast and informative hosts who helped us make the most of our 2 day stay in the area (including a tour of the Burren area with Tony Kirby a local naturalist). Great location to enjoy Irish music - a short stroll each night took us... More

Dubhlinn House was an excellent B&B we stayed for 3 nights in Doolin,Martin greeted use with open arms as if we were family, Joan was very helpful in scheduling our trip to the Aran Island, we had a reservation but she moved it up a day so we had good weather. The breakfast were delicious and the conversations great. The... More

This must be the best B&B in Doolin, as I knocked on the doors of more the half a dozen others (I am fussy!), before choosing this one. Martin was the most welcoming host ever, along with this wife Joan and two girls. Spotlessly clean and comfy room. Extensive choice of breakfast menu, (which you select the night before). Great... Loved this B&B. Great location near the Cliffs of Moher and the Burrens, an hour from Shannon airport... very convenient. Martin and Joan were warm, friendly hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was spotless and the beds were comfy. It was a nice touch to have a kettle and tea/coffee supplies in the room. Breakfast was a... More

Doolin is a lovely place. Dubhlinn House is an outstanding place to stay. Close to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Great hosts! They gave us recommendations for dining and attractions. When I walked to a pub at night, they gave me a flashlight, and trust me…I needed it. No streetlamps made it really dark. The breakfast was fantastic! More

I seriously think that Dubhlinn House had the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. The breakfast was darn good too. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed this lovely little B&B. We stopped in Doolin to break up the trip from Galway to Dingle, stopping to see the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher on... More
