The hostess,Mary Jo, is of American birth, but married an Irishman many years ago. She runs a wonderful little but clean and comfortable B and B in Doolin, a very small town, but excellent location to see the Cliff of Moher and the Burren. Her breakfast was sumptous but we enjoyed our conversations with her the most. When my wife... More

This place has it all, for vacationing in a beautiful quaint tranquil peaceful village on the west coast of Ireland. Peaceful and simple, but at the same time had everything. It was by chance we found this place, or miracle as I have already booked to go back. I felt as if i was staying with cousins, the twins who... More

We spent four days with Mary Jo and her family at Seascape this summer and it was the highlight of our trip, which hit such big-name stops as London, Edinburgh and Dublin. The B&B is a minute-long walk from two of the pubs (absolute must-visits) and maybe a 20 minute walk to the ferry to the Aran Islands. Right from... More

Greeted by a warm welcome from Mary Jo we had the best night's stay in Doolin. Our room was spotless and the memory foam bed was amazing. Mary Jo's full irish breakfast was very much appreicated after a night out at Gus O'Connor's. Will be back one day!

We spent two nights in Doolin in July and enjoyed our stay immensely. This was due in part to the easy and comfortable accommodation afforded by Seascape B&B. Seascape has a wonderfully rural outlook and Mary Jo, the proprietor, provided just the right amount of hospitality. As we see it, there's nothing stunning about Seascape itself, but it does have... This "Little Bit of Heaven" restores my soul! The O'Connell family's hospitality just enhances the majesty of Ireland that one finds all around Doolin! Seascape is an easy walk to Doolin and its charms - people, pubs, music and shoppes! The ferry to the Aran Isles is just down the street, and the Cliffs of Moher are framed by the... More

Coming to Doolin and Seascape for the second time in as many years is just like coming home! The O'Connell family's hospitality is legendary, but Mary Jo's unbounded knowledge about and enthusiasm for the west of Ireland is priceless! Mary Jo's full Irish breakfast is amazing - always served steaming hot with a smile! I need her scone recipe -... More

GREAT LOCATION, IMPECCABLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, & IMMACULATE ACCOMMODATIONS. In traveling to the “WEST” of Ireland, I always stay here. Mary Jo’s inn-keeping skills are second to none with excellent breakfasts, extremely clean rooms and extremely attentive service in order to make sure you have a super stay. Within walking distance from their house are three or four Pubs with... More
