Almost reluctant to share this unique experience but Tessa deserves all the kudos the other reviews have rightly bestowed. Unique house, unique location, unique accommodation, unique hosting and cullinary skills, what more can we say? Oh yes, 'we'll be back!'

Lovely weekend break, perfect for rest and relaxation. As all the other reviews have said, superb setting, ( perfect for visiting many beautiful villages, the coast and national trust properties) friendly host, (nothing was too much trouble for her) gorgeous food, lovely room (downstairs) with lots of extra little touches, especially liked the fact that we could come and go... We just had the most relaxing two day break, very comfortable and clean room, which is very dark at night, zero light pollution. The food was excellent, both evening meals worth paying for. Breakfast was yummy especially the fresh eggs laid by the girls. Would recommend Glebe farm to anyone looking for a quiet, quality, away from it all break.... More

Nothing of value to add to the other reviews except that places like this should be rated highly and publicly for the excellent standards they maintain and the wonderful welcome on arrival. Stay here and you won't be disappointed - or go hungry (the breakfasts are, well, big). On a clear day you can see from one side of the... More

This is a gem in the middle of rural Dorset, about 30 minutes south of Shaftesbury. There are two rooms available, both spacious and very comfortable with either a balcony or terrace overlooking the fields that form part of the farm. We were greeted with homemade scones and lots of practical advice about walks and pubs in the area. Tea... More

Ok, Tessa, so you must be getting tired of reading this but we had the most wonderful time with you this week. Every single thing was perfect: location, (very pretty village, well-placed for many walks and visits), bedroom, bathroom, dining room to die for etc etc. And most of all it was great fun staying with you: you really made... My wife and I have just returned from 5 nights with Tessa at Glabe farm. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like we were at home and could come and go as we please. Our room had everything you could want including a view of the fields and hills beyond. The location is in a picture... More

The hosts Tessa and Ian are wonderful people. They make you feel at home right from the first moment. Ian met us when we got there. He led us to our rooms, in a private quarter separated from the rest of the house. He made sure we had everything we needed for the night,, including the Internet and checked twice... More

We stayed at Glebe Farm on 14th and 15th of June. As the other reviewers have said we enjoyed a very warm, friendly welcome from Tessa. We had the upstairs room which is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean just as is shown in the photographs. Tessa has thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and more with... More
